West Lancashire Borough Council (WLBC) has updated its Tenancy Agreement to make sure it works well for everyone who lives in a council home, as well as reflecting current WLBC policies and priorities.
We have given all tenants the opportunity to help shape this new Tenancy Agreement via surveys and verbal feedback. In addition to this we have worked closely with a group of involved tenants to make sure the revised Tenancy Agreement is clear, relevant and covers important topics.
To support the Tenancy Agreement, we have developed a Tenant Handbook - this offers more detail around policies and helpful advice to support our tenants in making the best use of their homes.
Now we’d like all tenants to read the updated agreement and tell us what they think. You can find the document here and in the document section of this page. Please fill in the survey below to share your thoughts. Please submit your feedback by 12:00 noon on Monday 25th May 2026.
If you have questions that aren’t answered in the FAQ section, email the Neighbourhoods team at neighbourhoods@westlancs.gov.uk
You can also contact us if you need the survey or information in a different format.
