Staff website/ intranet survey
As a staff member of West Lancashire Borough Council, we would like to understand how you currently use the Council intranet and Council website (www.westlancs.gov.uk).
This survey is linked to the Customer Experience Transformation project and the website redesign. As we look to transform our customer experience and improve our customer journey, we would like to hear about your experience while using the Council intranet and website and which other Council websites you feel are user friendly. You can submit your answers and suggestions on the ‘Other Council Website’ tab before completing the survey.
Whilst we strive to create a website and intranet which is aesthetically pleasing and modern, we need to consider the Government Accessibility Standards (WCAG 2.2). These standards provide Council’s with guidelines on how they should present information to their customers and how their website should function. The Accessibility Standards ensure Local Authority websites are accessible to all their customers by providing content which can be adjusted to the customers' needs; for example, enlarging font sizes, using screen readers or changing the language.
As part of this project the Accessibility Standards will play a key role in how our content will be reviewed but your response will allow us to understand what changes will enhance your experience, meet your needs and improve satisfaction in the most economic, efficient and effective way.
