West Lancashire Borough Council has over 1500 garages for rent in various locations across the borough. Garages can be used for the storage of taxed and roadworthy private motor vehicles , including small commercial vehicles, bicycles and boats or to store tools and garden equipment .
Currently we advertise our garages through the Homefinder website and garages are allocated on a first come first served basis, visit our website for more information. We are reviewing the way we allocate garage tenancies and are therefore consulting with our current garage tenants and those with a live garage application to hear their views.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Garage Allocations Consultation, your feedback is now being analysed and will help us frame the new Garage Allocations Policy and ensure the process is fair, open and transparent.
Watch out for further updates coming soon.
