Can the 'Climate Action Fund – Our Shared Future' be used to fund building or refurbishment costs?

The guidance says that these are unlikely to be funded. See Climate Action Fund - Our Shared Future | The National Lottery Community Fund to see what the National Lottery will and will not spend money on.

Can 'Climate Action Fund – Our Shared Future' pay for lessons in school hours?

Unfortunately, not, the guidance says: 'Activities that replace government funding (for example, we can only fund school activities that happen outside of normal teaching hours)'.

How will capturing rainfall help climate change?

By storing rainwater from heavy rainfall this will help to reduce the potential for drains and waterways from getting overwhelmed and potentially flooding. The water can also be used throughout the year to water both house and garden plants, increasing the space in the water butt for more rainwater, meaning less drinking water is used.
