COMMUNITY CLIMATE ACTION SURVEY
Help support a community bid for National Lottery funding
to bring local climate and energy-saving projects to life!
The National Lottery Community Fund has launched a new Climate Action Fund which could bring up to £1.5 million in funding to help people and communities in our borough take the lead in tackling climate change. In West Lancashire, as part of the Council's borough-wide approach to adapt our local environment and mitigate the impact of a changing climate, we are keen to build a network of people and communities across all sectors to support a bid to this fund and, if successful, drive the projects that will deliver long term effective impacts.
Do you think you could do your bit by reducing utility use, water and improve your health through active travel?
Would you be interested in measures to help you save money, especially with energy costs?
Have you noticed the UK weather is warming, extreme weather is increasing and winters are getting wetter?
Whether you are a resident, community group or larger organisation of West Lancashire we want to hear from you, please take a few minutes to complete our short survey!
Your support of the community bid will help show how committed our communities and West Lancashire Borough Council are to taking long lasting climate action and building a more sustainable future.
