Homelessness review is now closed.
Thank you to everyone who took time to participate in our homelessness review, you feedback will help us to identify what is working well, and any areas for improvement or gaps in the service.
Feedback will now be reviewed and will be used to develop a Homelessness Strategy and an action plan of areas to focus on over the next 5 years.
Homelessness Team
The Homelessness Act 2002 requires all local housing authorities to carry out a homelessness review for their borough at least every five years and to publish their homelessness strategy based on the results.
West Lancashire Borough Council are currently undertaking a review of homelessness, the review will inform the strategy and the purpose of the review is to:
Review the current and likely future levels of homelessness.
Review the provision of services to prevent homelessness, provide accommodation for homeless households and support those at risk of homelessness.
Review the resources available to prevent and tackle homelessness.
As part of this review, we are keen to hear the views of customers that have recently experienced homelessness and our services and are inviting you to share your feedback with us.
Your feedback will help us to identify what is working well, and any areas for improvement or gaps in the service.
Once the review has been completed, we will use your feedback to develop a Homelessness Strategy which will include an action plan of areas to focus on over the next 5 years.
