Under the Licensing Act 2003, West Lancashire Borough Council is required to adopt a Statement of Licensing Policy to set out the approach we will take under the Act.
The aim of the policy is to promote West Lancashire as a safe and healthy environment in which responsible operators can provide lawful and responsible facilities for the enjoyment of the Borough’s residents and visitors.
We are seeking the views of local residents, as well as those who have in an interest in licensing and the promotion of licensing objectives on our 2025-2030 policy.
