Why We Are Asking You to Complete This Questionnaire

As part of our commitment to delivering high-quality housing services and meeting the requirements of the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023, we are undertaking a review of skills, knowledge, and experience across our housing service.

The Competence and Conduct Standard sets clear expectations for landlords to ensure that all staff involved in delivering housing management services have the right skills, knowledge, qualifications, and behaviours to perform their roles effectively.

This means having a clear understanding of our current workforce capability and identifying where additional support or development may be needed.

This questionnaire will help us to:

  • Build a clear picture of the skills and experience across our teams
  • Identify strengths we can build on and celebrate upon
  • Highlight any gaps in knowledge, training, or qualifications
  • Support workforce planning, learning, and future learning and development opportunities
  • Ensure we remain compliant with regulatory expectations

Your responses will play an important role in shaping future training programmes, career development opportunities, and how we continue to deliver a high standard of service to our residents.

We want to reassure you that this exercise is not a test or assessment of individual performance

It's about understanding our collective strengths as a service and how we can better support you.

Your input matters

We encourage you to answer the questions as honestly and accurately as possible. Your insight is incredibly valuable and will help us strengthen both our service and the support we provide staff.

Many thanks,

Helen Core - Assistant Director of Housing
