Consultation has concluded
The Draft Council Plan 2023-2038 consultation is now closed, thank you to everyone who participated, feedback is now being considered and a draft plan will be proposed for adoption at full Council in October 2023.
West Lancashire Borough Council is developing a new Council Plan for the period 2023-2028.
It does not describe everything that we do but outlines our strategic ambitions, as to where we can directly make or influence changes and improvements across the borough.
The new plan aims to ensure that the priorities of the Council are focused upon delivering the best outcomes for our residents, businesses and communities across West Lancashire.
In developing the draft plan, we have sought feedback on our current plan and using other insight gained, created draft themes and areas of focus.
A cross-party Councillor workshop then provided further feedback on the draft plan and how we will deliver it. This feedback has been incorporated into the consultation documentation.
It is important to us that we listen to views on the draft Council Plan through consultation. The feedback received will be considered and used to shape a five-year plan of our strategic priorities that will then be proposed for adoption at full Council in October 2023.
Thank you for taking the time to participate.
