Christmas Bin Collection Changes
We would like to share with you information about the scheduled changes to waste and recycling collections over the Christmas period.
The changes will affect grey, blue and green bin collections.
From Tuesday 27th December to Friday 30th December, collections will be one day later than the normal collection date, due to the bank holiday on Tuesday 27th December.
Revised Collection Dates
Tuesday 27 December will now take place on Wednesday 28 December
Wednesday 28 December will now take place on Thursday 29 December
Thursday 29 December will now take place on Friday 30 December
Friday 30 December will now take place on Saturday 31 December
Please continue to follow other presentation advice which remains unchanged by presenting your bins with handles facing outwards by 7am, then returning the bin to your property promptly after collection.
Garden Waste collections
As usual, all garden waste brown bin collections will be suspended during the week commencing Monday 26 December 2022 and week commencing Monday 2 January 2023. Normal service will resume on Tuesday 10 January 2023.
Over the Christmas period, any urgent updates regarding collections will be posted on the Council's refuse webpage here
