  • Information you will find useful for this survey

    • The type of vehicle you used to get to work (example Car 1.4L)
    • Number of miles you commuted to and from your home to place of work and vice versa
    • Details of the days you worked from home or from an office during the period of 4th March - 17th March 2024

    Carbon Footprint

In the past, West Lancashire Borough Council's Carbon Footprint has always included its heating, electricity use, business travel and some material use. Since 2020, there has been a significant increase in people working from home and the office. To ensure our carbon footprint is as accurate as possible, it has been decided to include home working and commuting in future calculations.

    Accommodation Strategy

In preparation and delivery of the Accommodation Strategy, the data collected in this survey will provide an overview of council buildings use and working patterns.
